Neonatal Resuscitation Monitor
Indonesia is known to have a high mortality rate due to neonatal asphyxia.
41 neonates die everyday - many due to poor PPV resuscitation technique.
Through clinical immersion, we identified the user group with the greatest need for improved PPV technique and identified the unmet clinical needs.
We translated the prioritized unmet clinical needs into a Neonatal Resuscitation Monitor that can be connected to any PPV device. This device dramatically increases resuscitation (survival) of newborns and prevents unnecessary intubation. In case of intubation, it will help users intubate correctly into a bronchial tube and not into the esophagus.
